Partizan opponent in Cl round 3 qualifier will be the better from AEL Limassol v Linfild FC tie. After Nyon`s draw and if there`ll be no subsequent changes, first game will be – most probably – played in Limassol on 31st of July or 1st of Aug with reverse scheduled for Humska St on 7th or 8th of Aug.

Partizan officials first impressions after the draw: Club`s President Dragan Đurić:

- I believe this is the toughest draw for us as AEL is one very serious club with enough quality players . foreign one in particular. Limassol deserved great respect. However, I have to say we are serious club too, with high quality coaching department who`ll analyse the opponent to the bits and prepare our team for this tie adequately. Partizan is Partizan and I hope for the best – us qualifying for the round 4.

- I don`t think name of the opponent matters that much to concentrate on ourselves. But, if we do look at teams bursting onto the scene lately, clubs like AEL, we have to be aware such sides have opportunity to build new and better teams all the time with arrivals of new and richer sponsors. AEL was average side but they rose up, brought in 5 quality Portuguese players, 3 Brazilians and other imports, which inevitably leads to great ambitions. However, we are focused on our football idea – to achieve results using our own potential. I don`t think AEL is an obstacle we cannot pass by, to the contrary – we were given ok draw in Nyon. We`ll try to get ready for the first game over at Cyprus and to achieve desired result.
